What is Pilates Quad/Focus Training?
Pilates Quad/Focus Training is a style of Endurance Pilates focusing on the deep control of core muscles to lengthen and strengthen the body from the inside out. Based on the philosophy of taking your weakest layer and making it your strongest, this group challenges you through a series of endurance core moves primarily with the pilates Reformer machine and incorporate resistance bands, toning balls, arc barrels, and foam rollers.
All of these pieces of equipment combined, provide that "push/pull" sensation that you will need to feel and activate your deep core muscles. The added focus on deep inhalations and deep exhalations while doing the pilates movements will enable you to achieve a true mind body experience. You will leave these Pilates sessions feeling stronger, longer, leaner and with a new awareness of tighter core muscles.
